Types of Warm-up Exercises before Yoga ! Before you settle down to practicing yoga, just have warm-up session, which will energize your body. This may include a variety of exercises, depending on your situation. After you warm-up, take some rest (may be with savasana)before starting yoga session. We can have a small session of walking at indoor floor areas, stretching etc just to start perspiring. This will help you from receiving injuries as well.
We should not start yoga and any exercise all of a sudden, especially in cooler temperatures. Before that, we must have a small session of 10-15 minutes to warm up our physical system to get ready for the yoga session. If you not enough time then stop after the warm-up session which itself is one exercise session !
